While branch banking is still the predominant channel in Thailand and other emerging countries, growing customer expectations and competitive pressures are forcing banks to reassess their existing channel strategies. Certain best practice institutions are gaining success in this area with integrated multi-channel distribution servicing platforms aimed at delivering a cohesive and sophisticated multi-channel customer experience.
This Breakfast Dialogue aims to identify the strategies, know-how and tools to build an integrated multi-channel network that improves overall performance along the lines of efficiency, sales productivity, and customer loyalty. Asian Banker Research has done preliminary work in this area and would like to share some of our findings as well as obtain your valuable input based on your banking and operational experiences. The meeting held over breakfast will involve the following agenda.

Channel Transformation 2.0
With branch networks still constituting the single-largest cost component at major banks in the region, players are looking for the next generation of branch concepts that extend beyond simple branch re-design. Taking a broader view, best practice banks have adopted a multi-channel strategy that creates unique ecosystems around the different types of network points while strengthening mutual re-enforcement of channel usage for enhanced customer experience, and ultimately better performance.
This session examines the key drivers of a successful multi-channel strategy as observed in the industry, as well as the organisational learning that is integral during the process.
