Key issues to be addressed include the current state of market play, identifying the keys to unlocking the SME relationship and ways to prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.

Creating Unique Payments and Services for Mobile Phone Banking

This session will discuss the latest developments of unique services and products to create new value to customers. Participants will learn of the key issues banks need to consider to create a strong business case for this new e-finance medium. The discussion will focus on the development of smart payment applications, collaboration between carriers and banks, acceleration of customer adoption and marketing. Real-life examples of mobile payment systems being trialed around the world will also be showcased and explored, as well as the challenges of piloting or launching such products and services.

In the next 10 years, utilisation of direct and digital channels, content authoring, along with platform improvements, and customer behavioural analysis techniques will accelerate change rapidly, both transforming and disrupting banking to a point where it is hardly recognisable from today’s banking experience. How will we differentiate and how will we survive? This is the beginning of Bank 2.0. Understand which technologies, competencies and skills (people) will be required in the next 10 years in e-banking. Live demonstrations using video content and interactive website / mobile solutions for banking will be included.
